I bought Acer Aspire One ZG5

I bought Acer Aspire One ZG5 with two main goals, or you may say expectations, in mind. The first was to get a decent netbook with usable screen resolution, battery life and performance (my previous Asus EEE 701 failed in all three) and the second was to get computer with it's own mobile internet connection. After I gave it some thought, this netbook seemed like an ideal choice for me. It has 1024x600 resolution, quite enough for SSH, Jabber and IRC. Thanks to Intel Atom 270 processor, it provides enought computation power to run H264 video in 720p without even "breaking to sweat" and last but not least, it has integrated 3G (UMTS) modem so now I am really able to get connected and download all those manuals or send emails even when my main connection is down. Actually, I was not able to test 3G, but EDGE works like a charm (O2 neobmedzene data), so I wouldn't expect any problems with UMTS either.

"Everyone fights, noone quits. If you don't do your job, I'll kill you myself." - yeah, this netbook seems like an ideal soldier for information war. I hope it'll live on for as long as there's a need for soldiers like this.
